About me

Hello! I am Natalie and I’m currently studying in PLMGSS.

I have a strong passion for art and photography and do both traditional and digital art for my O level Art and my free time. I enjoy drawing human portraits but do draw other things as well.

I aspire to become a brand or graphic designer or to work with social media platforms for business branding. I also have an art account on instagram @n_art_alie.2 if you are keen to see more of my works!

designing projects 

  • First draft of the Handbell CCA’s costume I designed for them.

  • A final design of the Handbell CCA’s costume I designed for them. I changed the top of the dress to be the same colour as the top half of the skirt to give it a nice flow of colour and the white belt to contrast it. I made the belt gradient to the same maroon colour to match the dress.

  • A wedding postcard I designed for my aunt and uncle’s wedding, encapsulating their hobbies and lifestyle they share together. The rainbow shown is to mirror their proposal day where a rainbow appeared behind them, making it a special symbol to them.

  • CCA shirt designed by me. Black and white is always our CCA’s signature colour as it is similar to a dslr camera. The design is simple yet detailed with a semi-realistic camera drawn behind our CCA and “Photography Club”.

Photography

  • Portrait of a friend: the dramatic lighting, accompanied by her cunning expression, gives a certain feel to the photo, like a villain of a story yet it shows her beauty without having to see her full face.

  • Picture of boy jumping into the pool, used in a virtual gallery exhibition done by my CCA in collaboration with National Art Council as part of a workshop. This picture reminds us of our childhood times and how in the past children would jump the same way into the Singapore river but now we have swimming pools.
